The BU9 Nano delivers a compact 9mm package with a 3.07 in barrel and a 6+1 capacity, optimized for minimal bulk with a 0.90 in width. Its flat dark earth polymer frame contrasts with a black steel slide treated with Beretta’s Pronox nitrocarburized finish.
Manufactured in the United States and marked "BERETTA USA CORP., GALLATIN, TN," this model incorporates a modular, removable serialized fire-control unit. The barrel hood is marked "9 PARA," and the barrel is steel.
The striker-fired, short-recoil operated system is paired with a reversible push-button magazine release. There is no external manual safety and no external slide stop lever; the slide locks open on an empty magazine.
Sighting is handled by low-profile 3-dot sights with dovetailed bases and top-mounted set screws (one on the front, two on the rear), providing a 4.9 in sight radius. The slide has rear serrations only.
