Built on a feature-rich chassis with a folding, fully adjustable stock and a free-float aluminum M-LOK handguard, it is a 2019 production rifle, mfg part number 18042, and includes two 7-round Accurate-Mag steel AICS-pattern magazines. The 26-inch barrel is made from 4140 chrome-moly steel and is cold-hammer-forged with 5R rifling and a 1:8 twist. It features a medium contour and a threaded muzzle (5/8-24) fitted with the factory Ruger Hybrid muzzle brake. The bore condition is excellent with sharp rifling, supporting the precision-focused design.
The receiver is marked "RUGER PRECISION" and "NEWPORT • NH • USA." A factory-installed 30 MOA canted Picatinny scope rail provides added elevation for long-range optics. The oversized teardrop bolt knob offers confident manipulation, and the user-adjustable Ruger Marksman Adjustable trigger and thumb safety round out the fire control features.
The chassis system includes a folding polymer/composite stock with an adjustable comb and adjustable length of pull, QD sling sockets, a bottom Picatinny rail, and a bag rider. The free-float aluminum M-LOK handguard includes integral QD sling points and a flat 1.50-inch dovetail compatible with RRS SOAR-type clamps, allowing secure interface with compatible support gear.
This model accepts AICS-pattern magazines up to 3.85-inch COAL and comes with two 7-round Accurate-Mag steel magazines for a 7+1 capacity. Additional highlights include an AR-pattern pistol grip, the rifle’s 2019 manufacture year, and USA origin, with manufacturer part number 18042.
