The 16.1-inch M4-profile barrel features a chrome-lined bore and chamber, a 1:7 RH twist, and a carbine-length gas system. The muzzle is threaded and fitted with an A2 flash suppressor. The barrel includes the M203 cut and a bayonet lug, and it is paired with a fixed A2 front sight base.
The flat-top upper receiver provides a T-marked Picatinny rail, forward assist, and an ejection-port dust cover. Receiver markings include the left-side "M4 CARBINE CAL. 5.56MM" with the Colt pony-over-globe logo and the right-side "COLT DEFENSE HARTFORD, CONN. U.S.A." roll mark. The serial carries an LE prefix.
Furniture consists of a Colt-marked Rogers Super-Stoc that is collapsible, plus an A2-type polymer pistol grip. A two-piece drop-in aluminum handguard with top and bottom rails only is installed, along with a folding rear iron sight that works with the fixed A2 front sight. Sling attachment hardware is present, including a rail-mounted sling loop.
