    What’s Included
    • Smith & Wesson Model 28-2 Highway Patrolman .357 Magnum revolver (4-inch)

The Model 28-2 Highway Patrolman is built on the robust S&W N-frame with a square-butt profile and a six-shot fluted cylinder. This example features the 4-inch non-underlug heavy barrel with a short ejector-rod shroud, giving it the classic Highway Patrolman configuration.

Its sighting system consists of a ramp front sight and a micrometer-click adjustable rear sight. The topstrap and barrel rib are matte and serrated to reduce glare, supporting a clear sight picture.

The revolver is finished in blued carbon steel, with a color-casehardened hammer and checkered walnut Magna stocks bearing S&W medallions. Barrel rollmarks include "SMITH & WESSON" and "S.&W. .357 MAGNUM," and the yoke cut is marked "MOD. 28-2."

As a duty-grade Highway Patrolman variant from the mid-1970s, it delivers the classic DA/SA operation associated with the model. The matching serial numbers on the butt and yoke cut add to its originality within the Model 28-2 line.
