Built on a forged steel slide and frame with a matte black finish, this Government-size ZIG M1911 follows the classic 1911 single-stack format. The 5 inch cold-hammer-forged, bushing-type barrel and single-action, short-recoil operation deliver the traditional 1911 shooting experience in .45 ACP with a stated capacity of 8+1.
The controls and small parts are set up for practical carry and range use, including a left-side thumb safety and a beavertail grip safety. A three-hole lightened trigger and a skeletonized commander-style hammer provide a clean trigger interface consistent with modern 1911 features.
Sighting is straightforward and durable: a fixed rear notch set in a dovetail pairs with a front blade that includes an orange insert for a crisp, visible front reference. The slide uses rear-only serrations for charging and administrative handling.
This example is an early U.S. import and is marked "Made in Turkey" with SARAC DISTRIBUTORS LLC, FT. MYERS, FL import information. The non-railed frame maintains the classic profile, and the single-stack magazine pattern supports standard 1911 .45 ACP magazines.
It is upgraded with Pachmayr wraparound wood-and-rubber finger-groove grip panels installed for added purchase and comfort. The original factory checkered grip panels are included if you prefer the OEM configuration.
