The v3 platform brings widened frame rails that are flush to the slide for a tight, consistent fit. The slide uses X-series style cocking serrations and an external extractor, while the action is single-action, short-recoil, locked-breech with a flat-faced, lightened trigger and a skeletonized commander-style hammer.
The 4.0 in stainless bull barrel is full-length fluted and paired with a tool-less guide rod, reverse plug, and flat-wire spring. This setup aims for smooth cycling and easy maintenance without additional tools.
Controls and sights are straightforward and duty-focused: ambidextrous thumb safeties, a beavertail grip safety, and Dawson/Staccato-pattern iron sights with a green fiber-optic front and a plain black rear.
