Savage Arms Mark II .22 LR Bolt-Action Rifle, 21 inch Sporter Barrel, Laminated Stock, Sightron 3-9x40 Scope
This Canadian-made Savage Arms Mark II in .22 LR stands out with its Lakefield, Ontario rollmark, a clean 21 inch sporter barrel, and an installed Sightron 3-9x40 scope in rimfire tip-off rings on the receiver's integral 3/8" dovetail (no separate bases). It features Savage's AccuTrigger with a blade-safety design, a gray/black laminated sporter stock with checkering, and a detachable 5-round steel magazine. The rifle is in very good overall condition with an excellent, mirror-bright bore.
The matte blued sporter barrel is unthreaded, unfluted, and set up without iron sights, making for a sleek, purpose-built small-bore bolt gun. The mounted Sightron 3-9x40 optic provides a practical magnification range for zeroing and field use, secured in tip-off rings on the factory 3/8" receiver dovetail; no separate bases are installed.
The laminated hardwood stock combines durability with a straight-comb sporter profile, cut checkering for grip, and factory sling-swivel studs. Length of pull measures 13.5 inches for a comfortable fit on the bench or in the field.
Controls include a right-side lever safety and the AccuTrigger with its blade-safety system. Markings include "Savage Arms (Canada) Inc., Lakefield, ONT., Canada" with the import line "Imported by Savage Arms Inc., Westfield, MA, USA 01085," and the serial number is stamped on the right side of the receiver.
