The CZ BREN 2 Ms Carbine in 5.56 NATO pairs a 16.5 in cold hammer-forged, threaded barrel with a short-stroke gas piston system and a multi-position gas regulator. It features a side-folding, telescoping stock that can be fired when folded, a non-reciprocating, reversible charging handle, and a free-float aluminum M-LOK handguard. Manufactured in the Czech Republic with CIP proof marks and a triangle '22' date code, with final assembly performed in the USA by CZ-USA (CZ-USA import marking present), this carbine is built around an aluminum upper with a hard-anodized finish and a polymer lower.

Built around a semi-automatic, short-stroke gas piston system, the BREN 2 Ms Carbine includes a multi-position gas regulator for tuning the action to varying conditions. The non-reciprocating, reversible side-mounted charging handle supports both left- and right-side operation while keeping the shooter clear of moving parts.
The 16.5 in steel barrel is cold hammer-forged and threaded 1/2x28 UNEF, and it comes with a factory two-chamber muzzle brake installed. A 1:7 RH twist supports modern 5.56 NATO loading choices, while the free-float aluminum M-LOK handguard offers mounting space for accessories.
The side-folding, telescoping stock incorporates QD sling cups and a rubber buttpad, and the carbine can be fired with the stock folded. Length of pull is 12.25 in, with an overall length of 38.5 in and a weight of 7.3 lb for a solid, well-balanced feel.
The aluminum upper and handguard wear a hard-anodized finish, while the lower is polymer with a molded surface. The receiver and handguard are railed for mounting optics and accessories, and the rifle ships with no factory sights. Markings include CIP proof marks, a triangle '22' date code, a CZ-USA, Kansas City, KS import mark, and a MADE IN CZECH REPUBLIC roll mark. Final assembly was performed in the USA by CZ-USA.
