This Marlin Model 336D Dark Series is an Ilion, New York Remington-era rifle from 2019–2020 with an MR-prefix receiver. It features a factory 16.25 inch threaded barrel with a knurled thread protector, a full-length Picatinny Lever Rail, and an enlarged paracord-wrapped big-loop lever. The rifle wears a matte black parkerized metal finish with black webbed hardwood furniture and is in excellent condition. It uses a solid-top, side-eject receiver with a right-side loading gate and a 5-round tubular magazine.

Overall Condition: Excellent condition, showing only faint signs of any prior use or handling.
Bore Overall Condition: Excellent - Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.
Bore Rifling: Excellent Rifling - Sharp lands and grooves.
Specific Condition Notes: There are a couple of faint finish cracks on the stock near the rear tang; they appear to be limited to the finish only.

The Dark Series treatment gives this 336D a modern, utility-focused configuration: matte black parkerized metal with black webbed hardwood furniture and textured gripping surfaces. The stock is a pistol-grip style with a rubber recoil pad and QD sling swivels, paired with a matching hardwood fore-end.
Its 16.25 inch barrel is factory-threaded and includes a knurled thread protector. The rifle uses a cross-bolt safety and retains the classic lever-action layout with a 5-round tubular magazine.
A full-length Picatinny Lever Rail spans the receiver and forward onto the barrel. Sighting is set up with a ramp-mounted steel front blade; no rear iron sight is observed. The solid-top, side-eject receiver and right-side loading gate support easy top access and robust operation.
