The Kimber 1911 DS Warrior LW is a recent-release, full-size, double-stack 9mm built on a modular 1911 platform. It combines an aluminum sub-frame with a carbon-fiber-infused polymer grip module for reduced weight, a 5-inch bushing barrel, and an optics-ready slide using Kimber’s TAG RMR-pattern interface. Finished in KimPro black with practical features throughout, this example includes two factory 10-round magazines and comes in excellent condition.

This DS Warrior LW uses a modular double-stack 1911 design with an aluminum sub-frame and a carbon-fiber-infused polymer grip module. The frame is marked 1911 DS-W, and the underside dustcover carries the Kimber Troy, AL USA marking, while the barrel hood is stamped 9MM.
The full-size 5-inch Government-length, bushing-type barrel and internal extractor are paired with a lowered and flared ejection port. An integral, 3-slot 1913/Picatinny rail on the dustcover provides light/laser mounting options.
The slide wears a KimPro black finish with front and rear cocking serrations and an optics cut that uses Kimber’s TAG cover-plate system, compatible with RMR-pattern footprints. Fixed iron sights are installed (front blade, rear notch).
Controls and ergonomics include an ambidextrous thumb safety and a beavertail grip safety with memory bump. The skeletonized, long 3-hole trigger, textured modular grip with WARRIOR wordmark and Kimber flame-K logo, and a flared magazine well support confident handling and quicker reloads. Capacity is 10+1 with the included magazines.
