- One 30-round polymer KP-9/KR-9 pattern magazine marked '9x19' and 'MADE IN USA'
The KP-9 uses a closed-bolt, simple blowback system optimized for 9x19mm. Controls are familiar to AK users, including a right-side charging handle, a paddle-style magazine release, and a selector safety. The steel receiver wears a matte black finish and is marked 'Kalashnikov USA Pompano Bch FL US' and 'KP-9 9X19'.
The 9.25-inch barrel is threaded 1/2x28 RH and the front-sight base adds M24x1.5 RH compatibility for appropriate muzzle devices. A muzzle-device detent at the protected-post front sight supports secure indexing, and the rear sight is a simple notch for fast alignment.
A hinged, full-length Picatinny railed top cover provides a solid mounting surface along the top of the receiver. The two-piece ribbed polymer handguard offers a secure grasp while maintaining the classic profile of the platform.
The pistol accepts detachable KP/KR-9 pattern magazines and is configured for 30+1 capacity in 9mm Luger. Overall length is approximately 18.25 inches, keeping the package compact and maneuverable while retaining AK-pattern ergonomics and balance.
