The 627 Tracker is a medium-frame, seven-shot revolver chambered in .357 Magnum and rated for .38 Special +P. The 6.5 inch barrel is factory ported to help manage muzzle rise, and the ventilated shroud with full underlug provides added weight and protection around the barrel.
Its stainless steel frame and barrel wear a matte stainless finish for a low-glare profile. The revolver uses Taurus Ribber black rubber one-piece grips with finger grooves for a secure, consistent hold.
Sighting equipment includes a fully adjustable square-notch rear and a fixed ramp front sight with an orange insert for clear sight alignment. The action is double-action/single-action, allowing both rapid and precise firing modes.
