    What’s Included
    • Sling: Canvas sling with leather dog-collar attachments (installed)
    • Sights: Aftermarket rear peep/aperture sight on original rear-sight base (installed)
    • Recoil Pad: Rubber recoil pad (installed over buttstock)
    • Cleaning Rod: Standard M91/30 cleaning rod (installed under barrel)

Wartime production at Izhevsk in 1943 places this rifle squarely in the WWII era, with the round receiver and straight bolt handle typical of the period. It feeds from a five-round internal magazine and is chambered in 7.62x54R. Matching Cyrillic serials on the bolt handle and magazine floorplate add cohesion to the configuration.

The 29-inch barrel shows a bright, mirror bore with sharp lands and grooves. Sighting is updated with a modern rear peep/aperture unit mounted to the original rear-sight base, working with the hooded front post; the front sight post has user-applied paint for visibility.

The hardwood stock is the classic full-length M91/30 pattern without finger grooves, with sling slots with metal escutcheons and two barrel bands, paired with a two-piece handguard. A rubber recoil pad is installed over the buttstock, yielding a 14.5 length of pull. The standard M91/30 cleaning rod remains installed beneath the barrel, and a canvas sling is fitted.

Arsenal and national markings are present, including the Izhevsk triangle-with-arrow and Soviet crest on the barrel shank. The receiver bears the PW ARMS REDMOND WA import mark. While originally configured for a detachable socket bayonet, this example has had the bayonet lug removed.
