The Shadow 2 Compact pairs a 4.0 in steel barrel with a forged 7075 aluminum alloy frame to keep weight manageable while retaining the slide‑in‑frame design known for a low bore axis. Factory specs list an overall length of 7.5 in, width of approximately 1.4 in, height of 5.4 in, and an unloaded weight of about 31.7 oz.
Controls are set up for confident DA/SA operation with an ambidextrous manual safety and no decocker. The pistol uses a curved trigger and a skeletonized spur hammer, and it features an extended beavertail for a consistent, high grip. Capacity is 15+1 and two 15‑round steel magazines are included.
The slide is optics‑cut with a cover plate secured by two screws, and it carries front and rear cocking serrations plus an anti‑glare rib. A 3‑slot Picatinny‑style dust‑cover rail supports compatible lights or accessories as needed.
Sighting equipment is set up for quick reads and fine tuning: a red fiber‑optic front sight and a height‑adjustable rear sight. Aftermarket LOK textured panels are installed for a firm hold, and the original CZ aluminum grip panels are included.
Markings confirm origin and import. The pistol is made in the Czech Republic with CZ‑USA, Hartford, CT import marks. A Czech proof triangle with 25 is observed near the serial, and the slide and frame carry matching serial numbers.
