The X-Series treatment brings practical upgrades to the classic 1911 platform. This pistol features a steel frame and slide with a uniform matte black finish, frontstrap checkering, and a textured mainspring housing. The gray G10 grip panels wear SIG SAUER logos and provide a firm, consistent hold.
The slide is optics-ready with a screw-retained rear-sight cover plate and is compatible with Shield RMSc-footprint micro red dots. Factory SIG X-RAY3 day/night sights ride on top, with a high-visibility green-dot front and a dovetailed rear. Front and rear slide serrations aid manipulation, and the ejection port is lowered/relieved.
Controls include an ambidextrous thumb safety and a grip safety, along with a solid 1911 trigger and an external hammer. A flared magazine well funnel at the mainspring housing speeds reloads while maintaining a clean profile.
An integral 1913-style accessory rail with three cross-slots supports common weaponlights and accessories. The Government-length 5-inch barrel and slide are chambered in .45 ACP with an 8+1 capacity, and this example ships with two steel magazines.
