The Response uses a semi-automatic blowback action with AR-pattern controls and a left-side bolt catch, plus a manual safety selector. It ejects from the right-side port and omits a dust cover, keeping the setup simple and streamlined. A flat-faced trigger provides a consistent, modern trigger geometry.
The factory 16.5-inch barrel is threaded 1/2x28 and ships with a thread protector; twist rate is 1:10. The box label is printed 16.25 inches, while the factory specification is 16.5 inches. The bore presents clean, mirror-bright lands and grooves.
