The A300 Ultima platform uses a gas-operated action with a self-cleaning cylinder and compensating exhaust valve, designed to keep the system running efficiently. This example retains Beretta’s enlarged charging handle and enlarged bolt-release for easier manipulation with gloved or wet hands.
The 28-inch steel barrel is paired with a stepped, ventilated rib and a bead front sight for a clean, fast sight picture. The barrel is threaded for the MobilChoke pattern and arrives with an extended, ported Mid Range .710 Choke installed, providing a useful constriction setup right out of the box.
Chambered for both 2 3/4" and 3" shells, this shotgun offers flexibility for a wide range of loads. The magazine is currently configured at 2+1 with the factory plug installed, aligning it with common field-ready capacity requirements.
The synthetic stock and forend are finished in tan to match the receiver and barrel. Practical stock features include molded checkering, an elastomer cheek insert, and a Beretta rubber recoil pad. A rear sling attachment point is present, and length of pull measures 14.0 inches. The receiver is aluminum alloy to keep weight down while maintaining durability, and the gun is marked A300 ULTIMA 12GA and Made in the USA (Gallatin, TN).
