The Performance Center treatment brings a tuned, flat-faced trigger with a tactile and audible reset, plus factory slide and barrel porting to help mitigate muzzle rise. The pistol uses a stainless steel slide and barrel finished in Armornite black for corrosion resistance and durability.
Fiber-optic sights (green front, red rear) provide bright sight references, and the 5.3 in sight radius supports precise alignment. The slide is marked "M&P 9 SHIELD PLUS" and carries the Performance Center medallion.
