The compact 2011 platform combines an aluminum frame with a textured polymer double-stack grip module featuring the Staccato star logo and an extended beavertail. It is single-action only with an ambidextrous thumb safety and an active firing pin block. A skeletonized rowel-style hammer and a flat-faced, skeletonized trigger complete the HD configuration.
The 4 in bull barrel and the pistol’s DLC finish are paired with a slide that has wrap-over front and rear serrations, an external extractor, a lowered and flared ejection port, and muzzle relief/lightening cuts. Factory markings include STACCATO C4X on the right side of the slide, 20★11 HD on the left dustcover, and STACCATO FLORENCE, TX USA on the underside of the dustcover.
Sight picture is clean and direct with fixed iron sights: a dovetailed front blade with a yellow dot insert and a plain rear black notch. The slide is optic-ready via a removable rear cover plate for an optic interface.
The HD-series captive flat-wire recoil system is designed for consistent cycling. Capacity is 15+1, and this pistol comes with six 15-round steel, double-stack 2011-pattern magazines with witness holes. An integral four-slot Picatinny dustcover rail provides space for a compatible accessory.
