What’s Included
- IOR LPS 4x24 scope with illuminated reticle and Cyrillic "ВКЛ/ВЫКЛ" on/off switch, installed on a side-rail quick-detach mount
- Two 10-round steel PSL-pattern magazines with X-reinforcement stampings
The ROMAK-3 is built on a stamped-steel AK/RPK-pattern receiver with riveted trunnions and a black/gray finish. It operates via a semi-automatic long-stroke gas piston system with a rotating bolt and is chambered in 7.62x54R. This configuration is distinct from the SVD design.
The rifle uses a 24.5-inch barrel that is threaded and fitted with a multi-port slotted muzzle brake. Capacity is 10+1 with proprietary steel PSL-pattern magazines featuring X-reinforcement stampings. Controls include a right-side AK safety lever, and the length of pull measures 12.5 inches.
Optics are supported by a factory side-mounted Warsaw Pact dovetail rail. Included is an IOR LPS 4x24 scope on a quick-detach clamp-on mount, with an illuminated reticle controlled by a Cyrillic-marked on/off switch. Backup sighting is provided by AK-type iron sights: a front sight tower and a tangent rear sight.
Furniture consists of an orange-hued glossy wood thumbhole stock with an integral rear sling loop and a recoil pad, paired with matching wood handguards that have ventilation slots. The overall finish presents cleanly, with only light evidence of prior handling.
Markings include "Model: ROMAK-3 / Cal. 7.62x54R mm / Made in Romania" and a KNOX TN USA import mark. The rifle was manufactured in 2001, and the serial uses a year-suffix format consistent with that date.
