Built on the Mark XIX platform, this Desert Eagle is chambered in .50 AE with a 6-inch barrel that is hammer-forged from 4140 chrome-moly steel. The gas-operated system with a rotating bolt is central to the design, delivering the distinctive operation associated with the model.
Controls are straightforward and robust, featuring ambidextrous slide-mounted manual safety levers and an external hammer. The fixed iron sights include a front ramp blade and a rear square-notch, providing a clean, durable sight picture.
Construction is all steel with a matte black finish on the frame, slide, and receiver. The pistol wears black two-piece textured polymer grip panels with Magnum Research eagle medallions.
