What’s Included
- Colt Diamondback .38 Special revolver with 2.5 inch barrel
Built on Colt’s D-frame, this Diamondback combines a compact 2.5 inch carbon-steel barrel with a ventilated, anti-glare serrated rib and a full-length underlug that shrouds the ejector rod. The polished blued finish complements the six-flute, blued cylinder and the Rampant Colt rollmark on the frame.
The revolver is double-action/single-action with a smooth trigger face and a wide, checkered hammer spur. It uses Colt’s pull-to-rear cylinder latch and a knurled-tip ejector rod, and the cylinder rotates clockwise, consistent with Colt’s D-frame V-spring lockwork.
Sighting is handled by a serrated, ramped front blade paired with a fully adjustable rear sight, providing a clear, tunable sight picture. The checkered walnut stocks with Colt medallions complete the factory-style presentation.
Markings and details include the D-prefix serial format observed on the crane with a matching numeric sequence in the yoke cut, plus an inspector/assembly letter "J" on the frame yoke cut. This U.S.-made revolver dates to the 1960s era, manufactured in 1967.
