Construction features include a Nitron-finished stainless steel slide over a hard-anodized alloy frame. The pistol is finished in matte black and includes an integral three-slot accessory rail for mounting compatible lights or accessories.
This P226 is a DA/SA, hammer-fired, locked-breech design with a curved trigger and a spur hammer. Controls include a left-side magazine release and a decocker, with a firing pin block for drop safety. The top-of-slide "LOADED WHEN UP" indicator provides a visual/tactile loaded chamber confirmation for the CA-compliant MK-25-CA series.
Sights are fixed steel in dovetail cuts, with a front blade featuring a single dot and a rear square-notch. Grip panels are two-piece, textured black with molded SIG SAUER and P226 logos for a secure, familiar P226 handling profile.
