What’s Included
- HK VP9SK 9mm pistol
- One 13-round steel magazine with finger-rest floorplate
The VP9SK is the subcompact 9mm Luger member of HK’s VP Series, built on a black polymer frame with interchangeable grip components. It uses a recoil-operated, Browning-type modified linkless locking system and a striker-fired, single-action trigger for a consistent pull.
This example features the early non-optics-cut slide with front and rear cocking serrations and a striker-cocking indicator. Safety features include a firing-pin block, trigger safety, loaded-chamber indicator, striker-cocking indicator, and disassembly safety.
The 3.4-inch cold-hammer-forged barrel uses polygonal rifling with a 1:9.8 right-hand twist. Sights are iron: a steel front post with a yellow dot and a square-notch rear that is drift-adjustable, with a 5.73-inch sight radius.
Ergonomics and controls are classic HK, including the paddle-style ambidextrous magazine release (not the VP9SK-B push-button variant). The frame integrates a reduced-length, three-slot MIL-STD-1913 accessory rail.
Proofs and origin are fully documented: German CIP N nitro proof, Ulm antler proof mark, BH date code, DE country code, and the HKI – Columbus GA import mark confirm German manufacture and U.S. importation.
