Remington Model 11-48 28 Gauge Semi-Auto Shotgun, 21 in Barrel, Lyman Cutts Compensator, Vent Rib, 2 3/4 in Chamber, 4+1
This Remington Model 11-48 stands out as a 28-gauge example of Remington's first post–WWII autoloading shotgun. It features a factory-length 21-inch barrel enhanced with a Lyman Cutts Compensator and a fitted ventilated rib, plus a ventilated recoil pad with white-line spacer. The 28-gauge chambering was produced in smaller numbers than the 12- and 20-gauge versions, adding interest for buyers who value this gauge and configuration.

A front bead sight is mounted on the Cutts unit for a clear, traditional sight picture.
A ventilated rib has been fitted to the barrel, complementing the short barrel length for a quick-handling setup. The magazine cap is knurled for easy disassembly and maintenance.
The long-recoil, semi-automatic action is configured for 28-gauge shells in a 2 3/4-inch chamber, feeding from a 4+1 tubular magazine. This gauge was produced in smaller numbers than the more common 12- and 20-gauge variants of the Model 11-48.
The checkered wood stock and fore-end include a pistol-grip stock with a Monte Carlo comb, a grip cap with a gamebird medallion, and a ventilated recoil pad with a white-line spacer. Length of pull is 13 inches, providing a compact, shoulder-friendly fit.
