Built by Izhmash in Russia, this Saiga retains the core AKM architecture with a semi-automatic, long-stroke gas piston system and rotating bolt. The stamped steel receiver includes magazine well dimples and a left-side AK-pattern optics rail, giving shooters a proven foundation and an easy way to mount compatible side-rail optics if desired.
The 16.3-inch barrel is unthreaded and capped with a plain, crowned muzzle. There is no muzzle device installed, and no cleaning rod is present. Iron sights are the classic AK setup, with a hooded front post and a tangent rear sight leaf.
The rifle wears a US-marked polymer fixed buttstock with a right-side sling swivel, paired with a wood AK-pattern pistol grip and wood lower handguard, plus a ribbed polymer upper handguard. Length of pull measures 13.0 inches, offering a straightforward and comfortable shoulder position.
