    What’s Included
    • Leather two-claw rifle sling, attached; maker not marked

Winchester production is confirmed by the receiver legend "U.S. MODEL OF 1917 WINCHESTER" and the barrel's "W" mark with U.S. Ordnance flaming bomb, dated October 1917. As the predominant U.S. service rifle of WWI, the M1917 design and its period-correct features are present throughout this example.

The rifle is chambered in .30-06 and uses a six-round internal magazine with a hinged floorplate. It employs a robust forged steel receiver and a bolt-action system that cocks on closing, true to the M1917 pattern.

Sighting is via a protected front blade and a receiver-mounted aperture with a 400-yard battle peep. The flip-up ladder peep is graduated from 200 to 1,600 yards, providing the long-range elevation scale used on wartime rifles.

Furniture is black walnut with an oil finish, featuring a full-length stock with grasping grooves and a straight grip, plus a two-piece handguard. The upper band includes a bayonet lug and stacking swivel. Length of pull measures 13.5 inches.
