Built around a robust short-stroke gas piston, the Hellion uses a two-position regulator with N (normal) and S (suppressed) settings to tailor operation. The forward charging handle, paddle-style magazine release, and ambidextrous rotary safety support intuitive manipulation from either shoulder.
The bullpup layout delivers a 16 in barrel within a compact footprint of approximately 28.25–29.75 in overall length, keeping the rifle maneuverable without sacrificing barrel length. Unloaded weight is about 8 lb, and capacity is 30+1 with standard AR-15/STANAG magazines.
The barrel is cold hammer forged from CMV steel and finished in Melonite/nitride for durability. It is threaded 1/2x28 for compatible muzzle devices and uses a 1:7 twist to stabilize a wide range of 5.56 NATO projectiles.
A full-length numbered Picatinny carry-handle rail and integrated flip-up sights (front post and rear diopter) come standard. The M-LOK fore-end offers mounting space for accessories, and the ejection side is configurable on this platform.
The polymer/composite receiver and stock system include a telescoping design with a multi-position latch, an adjustable cheek riser, and a fixed buttpad.
