The AL 390 Sport uses Beretta’s gas-operated system with a falling-block locking design from the AL390 family. It is chambered for 2 3/4 and 3 inch shotshells and has a 3+1 capacity. A cross-bolt safety is fitted. The receiver is matte black light-alloy and carries a gold-tone trigger and a knurled magazine cap.
The 26-inch barrel is marked for 12 gauge, 2 3/4 and 3 inch shells. It wears a ventilated rib with a single front metal bead and accepts Mobilchoke screw-in chokes. This setup provides a familiar sight picture with flexible choke compatibility.
Stocked in checkered walnut with a pistol grip and recoil pad, the gun has a 14-inch length of pull. The overall finish is matte black, matching the receiver for a cohesive look.
