The rifle features a side-ejecting, solid-top steel receiver with a right-side loading gate and a half-length tubular magazine for a 4+1 capacity. The cross-bolt safety complements its lever-action design, and the receiver is drilled and tapped with a scope base and rings installed.
The 22 inch round blued steel barrel uses a 1:20 twist, and the front sight is set on a ramped base; hood configuration as shown in photos. Sight configuration is as shown in the photos, and the bright, mirror-finished bore shows sharp rifling.
Furniture is American walnut, including a forend with a steel forend cap and a pistol-grip buttstock with a black grip cap. Cut checkering provides traction, and the stock is finished with a molded rubber recoil pad featuring the Marlin horse-and-rider logo and a black spacer. Sling swivel studs are installed front and rear, and length of pull measures 13.5 inches.
