The 94AE Angle-Eject receiver provides angled ejection and allows conventional top scope mounting. The receiver is steel with a blued finish, and the cross-bolt safety includes a red indicator at the rear of the receiver for clear status indication.
Built in the Trapper configuration, this carbine uses a 16-inch barrel and a full-length tubular magazine with a stated 9+1 capacity in .44 Magnum. Sight regulation is handled by a ramp front sight and an adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sight for practical field use.
Stocked in walnut, it has a straight-grip buttstock with a black checkered Winchester buttplate and a matching walnut carbine forend secured by two barrel bands. A saddle ring on the left side adds classic Model 94 carbine character.
The barrel is Winchester Proof Steel and rollmarked "WINCHESTER MODEL 94AE CAL. 44 REM. MAG. MADE IN NEW HAVEN, CONN. U.S.A.
WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL." Proof and origin markings include "MADE IN NEW HAVEN, CONN. U.S.A., WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL," consistent with its U.S. manufacture during the 1992–2003 era.
Length of pull measures 13.5, delivering a traditional carbine fit in a full-size lever-action platform while maintaining the Trapper’s compact handling characteristics.
