The V3 configuration pairs a conventional DA/SA trigger with a rear-mounted decocking button and an external spurred hammer. Ambidextrous slide releases and an ambidextrous paddle-style magazine release support left- or right-hand use without modification.
The 3.26 in barrel is cold-hammer-forged with polygonal rifling. The slide is finished in black HE nitrocarburizing and includes a loaded-chamber indicator via the extractor.
The polymer frame provides textured grasp surfaces and modular backstraps. A single cross-slot accessory rail on the dust cover accommodates compatible lights or accessories.
Fixed 3-dot sights are standard, with a drift-adjustable rear and a front sight that is replaceable by height. Safety features include a firing-pin block, drop safety, disconnector, hammer intercept notch, decocking button, and the HK lock-out device.
