The 24-inch heavy/varmint-contour barrel provides added stiffness and balance. It wears a high-polish blued finish and is configured without iron sights, presenting a clean barrel profile.
The BDL-grade walnut stock features a high-gloss finish, Monte Carlo comb with cheekpiece, and pressed skip-line checkering. A black fore-end tip with white-line spacer and a hard checkered buttplate with a matching spacer complete the classic BDL look. Sling swivel studs are installed, and the length of pull measures 13.5 inches.
The receiver is high-polish blued and drilled and tapped for scope bases. A jeweled bolt body adds a refined touch, while the internal box magazine feeds through a hinged floorplate for convenient unloading. Capacity is 4 rounds.
Chambered in 6mm Remington, a less common option in the Model 700 line, this rifle was produced in the USA between 1980 and 1987. It combines the hallmark fit and finish of the BDL series with a heavy-barrel configuration that many shooters value for stability.
