Made in Germany and imported by HKI–Columbus, GA, this USP carries DE and CIP proofs, the antler mark, and the HK date code "CB" indicating 2021. Markings include "Made in Germany," with the serial number present on the slide, frame insert, and case.
The platform uses a DA/SA, recoil-operated, modified Browning locking system with a spurred external hammer. Controls include a manual safety with right-side control lever configuration and an ambidextrous paddle-style magazine release. The black polymer frame has molded texture with "USP" panels.
Its 4.25 in cold hammer forged barrel employs polygonal rifling with a 1:9.84 in right-hand twist. The one-piece machined steel slide features an HE nitrocarburized finish in black with rear serrations only.
Factory Meprolight Tru-Dot 3-dot night sights are installed, with a drift-adjustable rear marked "TRU DOT" and a post front. The sight radius is 6.22 in. Capacity is 15+1, with an overall length of 7.64 in and a weight of 1.69 lb with magazine. The USP proprietary (non-Picatinny) accessory rail supports compatible lights.
