The Compact Tactical configuration pairs a stainless-steel slide and polymer frame, both finished in Flat Dark Earth, with front and rear cocking serrations for confident manipulation. Controls include fully ambidextrous slide-stop levers and a reversible push-button magazine release. A one-piece FDE polymer grip frame with molded stippling and an interchangeable backstrap provides a secure hold, with FN oval logos molded into the frame, and an aftermarket black adhesive grip wrap applied.
The cold hammer-forged stainless barrel is threaded 1/2x28 and capped with a knurled protector featuring an O-ring to keep it secure. Suppressor-height iron sights — a white-dot front and U-notch rear — are designed to co-witness with micro red dots mounted via FN's Low-Profile Optics Mounting System.
The optics-ready slide uses FN's plate-based LPOMS to interface with a range of micro red dots, and the dust-cover accessory rail supports lights and other rail-mounted accessories. An Olight BALDR Mini weaponlight is already installed on the rail.
The magazine set covers extended-length, mid-length with grip sleeves, and flush-length options, supporting a listed capacity of up to 24+1. Overall length is approximately 7.4 inches, with an unloaded weight around 26.2 ounces. Manufactured in Columbia, South Carolina, USA.
