This Mil-Spec model follows the classic Government-size 1911 pattern with a 5-inch barrel and GI-style short guide rod and plug. The forged steel slide and frame deliver a traditional, durable build, finished in matte gray to match the frame and receiver.
Slide features include vertical rear serrations and a lowered/flared ejection port for reliable extraction. The barrel presents a polished hood marked "S.A..45AUTO" and a polished muzzle crown. The front strap is smooth, and the dust cover is non-railed, consistent with Mil-Spec configuration.
Controls are straightforward and traditional: single-action operation with a left-side manual thumb safety and a grip safety. It uses a spurred hammer and a solid, short-reach trigger. Sights are fixed 3-dot, with a staked 1-dot front and a fixed 2-dot rear.
The pistol ships with two 8-round steel magazines (8+1 capacity when topped off). Double-diamond checkered wood grips with Springfield medallions are installed, and a spare set of Springfield black synthetic panels is included. The NM prefix is present, and the pistol is made in the USA.
