The Performance Center two-piece barrel uses a steel sleeve within an alloy shroud and ends in a sculpted muzzle block marked "357 MAG." The tuned action, ball-detent crane lock, and chamfered charge holes support smooth operation and fast reloads, especially with the cylinder cut for moon clips.
Controls and fittings include a teardrop checkered cylinder latch, an exposed hammer, and a Performance Center sideplate medallion. The yoke cut is stamped "327," the right-side frame below the cylinder window carries the "Made in U.S.A., Springfield, Massachusetts" rollmark, and the sideplate bears the Performance Center medallion.
