Built on the 1911 platform and sized as a compact Commander, this Series 80 Combat Commander pairs a blued carbon-steel slide and frame with a stainless steel 4.25 inch barrel. The finish and materials provide a classic Colt look with durable construction.
The slide is configured with Novak Lo-Mount dovetail cuts and 3-dot sights, including a white-dot front and a white-dot Novak Lo-Mount rear. Functional slide features include rear cocking serrations and a lowered, flared ejection port for reliable extraction.
Controls are Series 80 configuration with a firing pin safety, a single-side thumb safety, and a grip safety. It uses a GI-style recoil spring plug and Colt's Dual Spring Recoil System. The single-action, short-recoil system is paired with a skeletonized, lightened trigger and the classic rowel (Commander) hammer.
The pistol wears checkered wood grip panels with Colt gold medallions. Capacity is 7+1 with the included 7-round magazine. The case label observed matches the model and finish, and the pistol is made in the United States.
