The Warrior is built on a full-size steel 1911 platform and chambered in .45 ACP. This original Warrior model (not Warrior II) uses an internal extractor and carries the slide roll-marked "WARRIOR" with the frame marked "KIMBER YONKERS NY USA."
Duty-ready features include an integral Picatinny-style accessory rail, fixed 3-dot tritium night sights, and a Meprolight-marked rear sight (MH3). Both front and rear cocking serrations are present on the matte black slide.
Ergonomics and controls include a beavertail grip safety with memory bump, a single-side manual thumb safety, a half-cock notch, and a flat checkered mainspring housing with lanyard loop. The front strap is smooth, and the grips are light-tan textured panels with a scalloped pattern.
The skeletonized three-hole aluminum trigger complements the single-action operation. Capacity is 7+1, and one 7-round magazine with a bumper pad is included.
