Chambered in 5.7x28mm, this full-size Ruger-57 uses a semi-automatic, delayed-blowback, hammer-fired action with Ruger’s Secure Action fire-control and a short reset. The 4.94 in alloy-steel barrel pairs with a 1:9 RH twist to stabilize common 5.7x28mm loads.
Controls and safety features include an ambidextrous manual safety, a trigger safety, and a loaded chamber inspection port. The pistol is clearly marked to indicate it will fire with the magazine removed (no magazine disconnect). Capacity is 10+1, and two 10-round magazines are included.
The slide wears a durable black oxide finish with front and rear serrations, a top inspection port, and a drilled-and-tapped interface for optics; the included Ruger-57 optic mount plate supports that setup. Sights consist of a green fiber-optic front and a black, screw-adjustable rear for precise alignment.
A glass-filled nylon frame surrounds an internal, CNC-machined aluminum chassis and an internal hammer. The dustcover integrates a Picatinny-style accessory rail.
