This Winchester Model 9422M is a New Haven–made, .22 WMR lever-action rifle from the Traditional series, manufactured in 2002–2003. It features a 20.5 inch Winchester Proof Steel barrel, blued finish, and walnut furniture with straight-grip, checkered panels. It is in excellent overall condition with a clean, mirror-bright bore, and includes period-correct details such as right-side ejection, a solid-frame, non-takedown receiver, and an 11-round tubular magazine. The rifle falls in the F-prefix serial range.

Built in New Haven, this Model 9422M represents the .22 WMR variant of Winchester’s rimfire lever-action line. The Traditional series configuration and F-prefix serial range place it in the final years of production, 2002–2003.
The rifle uses a 20.5 inch Winchester Proof Steel barrel with a blued finish, matched to a blued receiver. Markings include Winchester Proof Steel and trademarks licensed from Olin Corp.
Stocked in walnut, it has a straight-grip, checkered buttstock and a matching walnut forearm. It retains the standard lever loop, a single barrel band, a black checkered buttplate with the Winchester logo, and a length of pull of 13.75.
Sighting equipment consists of a hooded ramp front and an adjustable semi-buckhorn rear with elevator, providing a classic and practical iron-sight setup. Ejection is to the right side.
Feeding is via an under-barrel tubular magazine with a removable inner tube and knurled cap, offering an 11-round capacity in .22 WMR. The 9422M uses a solid-frame receiver and is not a takedown rifle.
