The SP-01 configuration delivers an all-steel, full-size build with a 4.6-inch barrel and a full-length dust cover that incorporates an integral 1913 accessory rail with three slots. The slide rides inside the frame rails, a CZ 75 hallmark known for a low-profile slide fit, and the pistol wears a uniform black matte finish on both slide and frame.
Its DA/SA, short-recoil, locked-breech action is paired with a ring spur hammer and a manual-safety (non-decocker) layout. Ambidextrous manual thumb safeties and a firing pin block provide compliant, user-focused safety features while maintaining the classic CZ 75 manual of arms.
Target acquisition is handled by fixed 3-dot tritium night sights, with the rear sight marked TRU DOT and a tritium single-dot front blade. The slide includes front and rear cocking serrations and uses an external extractor for reliable operation.
Capacity is 16+1 in 9mm Luger, and this pistol wears textured rubber grip panels with CZ medallions for secure handling. It is marked "MADE IN CZECH REPUBLIC" and was imported by CZ-USA in Kansas City, KS, reflecting its Czech manufacture and U.S. distribution lineage.
