This FNX-45 is a full-size .45 ACP with a DA/SA, hammer-fired action and an external ring-style hammer. It features fully ambidextrous controls, including the safety/decocker, slide stop, and magazine release. This model does not include a dedicated loaded chamber indicator.
The 4.5-inch cold hammer-forged stainless steel barrel uses a 1:16 RH twist. The slide is finished in matte black with front and rear serrations and an external extractor. Fixed 3-dot sights and a 6.4-inch sight radius provide a familiar sight picture.
The FDE polymer frame has aggressive texturing and interchangeable backstraps for a secure, customizable grip. Replaceable steel frame rails support long-term durability. A MIL-STD-1913 accessory rail with four slots and a lanyard eyelet add practical utility.
Capacity is 15+1 rounds, and this pistol includes three stainless steel double-stack magazines. The two-tone appearance, lineage to the FNP-45 and the JCP program, and USA manufacture with FNH USA Fredericksburg, VA markings make this a distinctive and capable sidearm.
