The Model 669 is a DA/SA revolver with an exposed, checkered hammer spur and a transfer-bar ignition system. Its six-round, fluted, swing-out cylinder is paired with an all-steel frame and cylinder, finished in a polished blue that matches the barrel and receiver.
The 6 in heavy-profile barrel incorporates a full-length underlug and a solid, non-vented rib. Sighting is handled by an adjustable square-notch rear sight and a ramped, pinned front sight, providing a clear, tunable sight picture.
Factory two-piece wood target-style stocks with Taurus medallions are installed. The revolver’s steel construction, DA/SA action, and target-oriented sighting arrangement make it a well-configured .357 Magnum for range or field use.
Markings include CAL .357 MAGNUM and TAURUS … BRAZIL barrel rollmarks, MADE IN BRAZIL, the TAURUS INT. MFG., MIAMI, FL – USA import mark, the Taurus bull logo, and TAURUS BRASIL rollmarks, confirming origin and import history.
