This Springfield Armory Echelon is a full-size, striker-fired 9mm introduced in July 2023 and manufactured by HS Produkt in Croatia. It features a 4.5 in hammer-forged Melonite steel barrel, a Melonite-finished slide with deep front and rear serrations, U-Dot sights with a tritium/luminescent green front, and the VIS multi-footprint direct-mount optics interface. This example includes both 20- and 17-round steel magazines, the factory box with matching serial notation, VIS mounting hardware, a soft case, and the factory test target.

The Echelon’s VIS multi-footprint direct-mount interface is paired with an optic cut and cover plate, allowing secure, low-profile mounting using included pin sets and hardware. The slide’s aggressive front and rear serrations aid in confident manipulation.
A removable serialized Central Operating Group (COG) chassis anchors the polymer frame with aggressive molded stippling. Fully ambidextrous slide stops and an ambidextrous/reversible magazine release support left- and right-handed use.
The 4.5 in hammer-forged Melonite steel barrel and Melonite slide are finished for durability. U-Dot sights combine a tritium/luminescent green front with a U-notch rear for a crisp sight picture.
An accessory rail with multiple Picatinny/1913 slots accommodates lights or other rail-mounted accessories. Capacity is 20+1 using the extended magazine, and 17+1 with the flush-fit magazine.
