This WASR-10/63 follows the AKM pattern with a stamped sheet-steel receiver, long-stroke gas piston system, and rotating bolt. It includes a ribbed top cover and an early AKM-style 45-degree gas block, with ventilation via the gas tube, providing the classic Romanian configuration that many buyers seek.
The 16.3-inch barrel is threaded and fitted with a 45° slant compensator that is retained by the front sight base detent. Sighting is via an AKM open-post front and a tangent rear sight with a "P" setting and range graduations, aligning with traditional AKM sighting solutions.
Furniture is true to form: a Romanian 'dong' lower handguard with a wood upper handguard, a fixed wood stock with a rear sling swivel, and a checkered brown bakelite/phenolic pistol grip. Length of pull measures 12.5 inches, offering a compact, controllable feel.
