The Model 7600 Carbine configuration uses an 18.5-inch barrel and a detachable box magazine for a 4+1 capacity in .30-06. Its pump/slide action drives a rotating bolt that locks into the barrel extension via twin action bars.
The walnut stock and forend are detailed with fleur-de-lis cut checkering and a left-side cheekpiece. Hardware includes sling swivels, a forend metal nose cap, and a black checkered buttplate bearing the Remington crest.
Sighting equipment consists of a ramped front sight without a hood and an adjustable rear leaf. The receiver is drilled and tapped, with a scope base and Weaver 1-inch rings already installed for easy optic mounting.
The barrel and receiver are blued carbon steel and marked with the oval REP proof. Length of pull is 13.5 inches, and the rifle is made in the United States.
