Built at Winchester's New Haven, Connecticut facility, this XTR-series Model 70 uses the post-1964 push-feed system and includes a jeweled bolt body for smooth cycling. The three-position wing safety provides the familiar Model 70 control layout.
The 21.75-inch steel barrel wears a recessed crown and factory open-sight provisions: a hooded ramped front-sight base and an adjustable folding rear sight. The receiver is drilled and tapped for optics; factory plug screws are fitted and no scope mounts are installed.
The walnut stock showcases the XTR's high-gloss finish, Monte Carlo comb, and point-pattern checkering.
