The 3.27-inch barrel is cold hammer-forged with polygonal rifling. The slide wears HK's HE nitrocarburized finish and includes rear serrations and an external extractor. The SK-specific dual recoil/buffer spring assembly is designed for the subcompact format.
Sights are fixed 3-dot with a white front dot and a drift-adjustable rear. The frame is polymer with textured grip inserts and interchangeable backstraps. A single-slot accessory rail is molded into the dust cover.
Markings include "Heckler & Koch GmbH – Made in Germany," DE and CIP N proofs, the CF date code, and the HKI Columbus, GA import mark. The P2000 series is associated with DHS/ICE and CBP service adoption history.
Chambered in 9mm Luger, capacity is 10+1 with the included magazines. The P2000 SK accepts longer P2000 and USP Compact magazines, which will extend beyond the SK grip.
