The PPK uses a hammer-fired, DA/SA, straight blowback system with a slide-mounted safety/decocker. The exposed spur hammer and DA/SA trigger provide familiar PP-series handling and control in a compact .380 ACP package.
Construction is all steel with a stainless finish on both frame and slide. The slide includes rear vertical serrations and an anti-glare top rib, along with the slide-mounted safety/decocker. Sights are fixed iron types: a front blade with red dot and a rear notch with red dot for quick visual alignment.
The fixed barrel, 3.3 inches in length, is integral to the PP-series design, contributing to the pistol’s consistent performance. An extended beavertail tang enhances control and helps manage the pistol’s compact profile during firing and handling.
Ergonomics are completed by black checkered polymer grip panels with Walther banners. Capacity is 6+1 in .380 ACP, and this example includes two factory Walther steel magazines: one with a flat baseplate and one with a finger-rest baseplate, both baseplates marked 'Walther Cal. 9mm kurz'.
Made in the USA and cataloged under MFG part number 4796001, this model reflects current Fort Smith production. MSRP is listed at $1149.
